Unless otherwise stated in advertising and sale day announcement, the sale price will include a Buyer's Premium of 13% to be added to the final bid accepted by the Auctioneer aka the final hammer price. This 13% premium may be reduced to 10% for payment by cash or check. All in-house purchases must be paid for at the end of the sale. We will accept cash, MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit cards. We may accept personal checks with bank letter of guarantee, but we charge, and Buyer must pay, $250 for any "NSF" check returned. In dispute over payment, we may recover, and Buyer is liable for any expenses, costs or attorney fees we incur in collecting payment. 2. LOCAL PICK UP: Local pick up is available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call 816-697-3830 to let us know when you will pick up your item(s). SHIPPING: After verifying that payment has been made and all funds have cleared, Dirk Soulis Antiques LLC DBA Dirk Soulis Auctions will, as a courtesy to the client, undertake the packing and shipping of most purchases. Large items, Furniture, International Shipments and items deemed excessively fragile by Dirk Soulis Auctions may require special handling by a third party shipper. In this instance, Dirk Soulis Auctions will coordinate with the buyer's chosen shipper and will endeavor to provide as much assistance as possible. The cost for in-house shipping handled by Dirk Soulis Antiques LLC DBA Dirk Soulis Auctions will be the actual cost of postage or carrier charges, plus insurance and a handling fee of $7 per double-boxed shipment whether the box contains one item or more. Items that require a wood crate or banding to a pallet for maximum safety will be charged accordingly. The cost of building and implementing crates varies by size. The majority fall into the range of $50 to $150 and can ensure the security of important items.
